Benjamin William Hastings is the self-titled debut LP of the North Irish Christian Singer/Songwriter bearing the same name. The record serves as a deeply personal view into how Hastings pictured his life at the time, and it explores many of the things he found important at the time, including references to his faith, family, and experiences therein. The record highlights a contrast between where Hastings came from and where he'd like to be, containing both worshipful ballads and introspective tracks showcasing the spiritual and existential struggles that he was experiencing within his life at the time of writing. The LP also marked the start of Hastings' solo venture and career after leaving the worship collective Hillsong United.
