Ben Mazue was born to a French teacher and an architect. He entered the music conservatory to study piano. Throughout his childhood, he and his parents lived in Biot and moved to the capital, Paris, in the following years. As a teenager, he decided to stay and settle in Paris while his parents returned to the south of France to Biot. In addition to his piano studies, he also took courses in medicine. At the end of his various studies, he decided to take up music at the age of 25. In love with the knowledge of rap and soul music, he started to compose and to multiply his experiences as well as his friendships. With his friend Augustin, Ben Mazue performed for a while as a duo in the bars of the capital and then went on to form a group called La Plage for at least three years. This is how he got the taste for performing on the city's stages and did not stop touring at the first opportunity.
