Artist
Belén Aguilera Solana (born September 12, 1995) is a Spanish singer and songwriter from Mataró, Barcelona. She started gaining attention through social media with viral piano covers of songs before starting to release her own music. She is known for her stylistic shifting and genre-blending approach to pop music. On her debut album ‘Como Ves, No Siempre He Sido Mía…’ (2020) she presented a singer-songwriter style with emotional ballads. She then channeled her mainstream pop girl influences in her second record ‘SUPERPOP’ (2022). In 2023 she pushed further this pop sound with an experimental twist on her hyperpop EP ‘METANOIA’. Her third studio album, ‘Anela’ (2025), marked another significant artistic reinvention. The record presents a dreamy and experimental production with a narrative-driven concept accompanied by a short-film with gothic, surreal and fantasy-inspired influences. On ‘Anela’, Aguilera moved from her latest electronic production to heavy organic instrumentation, very string based sound and operatic vocal deliveries. Recognized by her wide vocal range and emotional introspective lyricism, Belén has built a dedicated fan base, allowing her to headline and sell out tours across Spain and perform at some of the biggest venues such as the Movistar Arena. She is regarded as one of the emerging figures in Spanish-language alternative pop. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
