Artist
Eugene "Baby Lloyd" Stallworth was an American songwriter and backing singer in James Brown's group of backup singers, The Famous Flames, also featuring Bobby Byrd. With Byrd and Bobby Bennett, Stallworth was a member of the group on Brown's noted Live at the Apollo album. As an artist in his own right, Baby Lloyd released just two singles, "I Need You" for Atco in 1960, and "There's Something on Your Mind" for Loma in April 1965, the latter produced by Brown. He also served variously as driver and valet for Brown. Stallworth died in 2001. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
