There are two bands named "Articulo Mortis". The first: Articulo Mortis are a Dark Metal band which formed in the North of England in June of 2003. Their first recording was made in November of the same year, titled "The Art of Misery," and exhibited three tracks. The band also recorded a mini-album in 2004, titled "Dark Metal". Their inspirations come from a wide range of bands, including Queen, Dio, Black Sabbath, Amon Amarth and Morbid Angel, though their sound has been likened to that of Amon Amarth, Venom, Celtic Frost and Opeth. Current lineup includes original members, "Chris Chainsaw" (Drums) and "J.Satan" (Guitar & Vocals), as well as "Mik Impaler" (Guitar) and "Goatboy" (Bass). The second: Belarussian death/doom band that was formed in 2004 after split-up of the band "Wasted".
