Takanori Arisawa (有泽孝纪) - Japan, 4 April 1951 - 26 November 2005. Japanese composer and arranger from Tokyo. He wrote music for hundreds of anime, including the award-winning soundtrack for the best for the "Sailor Moon". Died of bladder cancer in 54 years of age. Arisawa was self-taught, interested in music since childhood. He began learning the piano when he was 20 years old, recorded by the insistence of his mother to Senzoku Gakuen Music Academy, at the age of 22 years finally graduated from school with a higher degree of composing orchestral music. He studied jazz and pop. In 1980, the song "Shinjuku Transfer" were recorded by the choir "Soap" for the Sony Epic Records. "Hamot Pier" was awarded Best Composer Incentive in 1981 at the Tokyo Music Festival. Arisawa worked as a composer and arranger in the Tokyo Broadcasting System and has written music for television advertisements, including Pepsi-Cola advertising. Later he worked as music director for NHK television in the series "Let's Learn English!". As music director of the series Sailor Moon, Arisawa, received the award in 1993, the Golden Disk Grand Prize from Columbia Records. In 1998, 2000 and 2001 he won the International Award for JASRAC popularizing music for the series Sailor Moon, mostly because of the enormous popularity of Sailor Moon in other nations.
