about

Högberg grew up on Ornö and In Härnösand. She was educated at the adult education centres in Birka and Fridhems and played saxophone with Captain Murphybefore studying at the Stockholm Academy of Music from 2010 to 2012. [1] She first played in bands like Pombo. Since 2013 it has been part of the Fire! Orchestra around Mats Gustafsson, Johan Berthling and Andreas Werliin, with whom she also recorded four albums. In her punk jazz trio Doglife, she "regularly burns down dronefireworks, which are characterized by an irrepressible joy of playing and compelling musicality." [2] In addition, she founded the sextet Attack!, with which she presented the album of the same name in Sweden in 2016. She is also a permanent member of the quintet Se och Hör, with whom she recorded two albums until 2018. She can also be heard on the album Shake (2015) of Mats Gustafsson's trio The Thing and on Forevergreens (2016) by Dan Berglund's Tonbruket[3].
