Ana Maria Braga Maffeis (born April 1, 1949) is a Brazilian television presenter, chef and journalist. She began her career as a journalist at Rede Tupi de Notícias of the extinct Rede Tupi. In the written press, she worked as commercial director of fashion magazines such as Revista Cláudia. Ana Maria achieved fame on Rede Record, where she presented the program Note e Anote and the talk-show Programa Ana Maria Braga. Since 1999 she presents Mais Você, on TV Globo. Before becoming a journalist, she graduated in Biological Sciences from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), specializing in Zoology from the same university. In 1998, she launched her own women's magazine, Utilíssima, and a comic book, transcribing her and people close to her, such as her ex-husband Carlos Madrulha, into characters (Aninha, Carlinhos, Louro José, Maria Coruja, Lena, Mirna, between others).
