(Last.FM Synne-R) Amaeven is the brainchild of Justin Lemieux-Reale. Heavily influenced by progressive metal and classic rock legends such as Pink Floyd, Opeth, Metallica, and Anathema, Amaeven creates music with feeling, atmosphere, and harmony while at the same time remaining fast paced and engaging. Heavily influenced by David Gilmour, lead guitarist Lemieux-Reale uses a legato technique along with vibrato to get free flowing and mesmerizing tones from his guitar during solos. His music has been considered to be thought provoking both in lyrical content and sound. The debut CD for the group entitled “The Essence of the Sharp” will be released in the summer of 2010 for free download.
