Rebecca bought a ukulele in September 2008 and then started writing songs and sticking them up on YouTube for all to hear. In early December 2009, she recorded eight songs for The Secret Attic Recordings, released August, 19th, 2010 and soon to be available online. June 2010, Travis and Scott were added to the roster playing bass and drums, respectively. October 16, 2010, Rebecca performed for TEDx Omaha. October 17th, 2010, the band was nominated for three Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards: Best New Artist Best Adult Alternative/Singer-Songwriter Best Jazz/Standards/Easy Listening November 2010, Kaitlyn Maria Filippini was officially addded to this motley crew, playing the violin. In the December 1st issue of The Reader, AYGAMG was listed as one of the Next 10 bands to watch. February 13th, 2011, AYGAMG will take the stage at Harrah's Casino in Council Bluffs to play at the OEA Awards Ceremony.
