AL FLEEMAN grew up in the West Midlands of England. He made the permanent move to Argyll, Scotland in 2008 and started working on the 'Water is Wide' project soon after. Al has been involved in music all his life. He plays keyboards, viola and trumpet, and has performed in choirs, in a progressive rock group, and on solo piano. He co-composed the musical 'The Pied Piper of Hamelin'. His style-influences include Progressive Rock, Orchestral, Choral, Chillout, Contemporary Jazz, Soundtrack and Ambient.
