Aksomaniac (real name: Aron Kollassani Selestin) is a 22-year-old Indian singer-songwriter and producer known for his raw, poetic soundscapes and emotionally charged storytelling. Hailing from Trivandrum, Kerala, he blends Jazz, R&B, and Hip-Hop with his Carnatic roots, creating a sound that is deeply personal and entirely his own. His musical journey began in childhood, studying Carnatic music alongside his sister and learning to play the tabla. But it was a high school teacher’s encouragement to try the keyboard that started to spark something deeper. After that, he started playing the piano and everything shifted — music became a calling. He immersed himself fully, sometimes practicing for up to nine hours a day. Over the years, Aksomaniac has shaped a voice that is both fearless and fluid. His lyrics are unflinchingly honest, often blurring the personal and the political, the classical and the contemporary.
