Ago Decorus was an experimental post-hardcore band from Clearwater, Florida, United States. Ago Decorus (later known as The Normandy) strives to be more than a band, but a complete musical experience. Interweaving guitar lines are accompanied by lush, atmospheric vocal melodies, operatic bass progressions and thunderous, driving drums in order to create art through sound. By refraining from conventional structures and arrangements, each song became a beautifully painted picture that can only be limited by the listener's imagination. The band draws influences from such bands as Circa Survive, Dance Gavin Dance, Chiodos and Coldplay. After numerous lineup changes and a year of constant songwriting, the guys completed a demo in August 2009 that showcases their chemistry and musicianship. With only a handful of shows under their belts, Ago Decorus has already started to make a name for themselves through word of mouth and tireless internet marketing. Ago Decorus hopes to capture and captivate as many fans as they can with their high energy live show and unique sound. With a mission to never compromise, Ago Decorus' originality and beauty shines through and leaves the listener helplessly wanting more.
