Adriana Rios was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She began studying classical music at the age of 11 learning to play the flute. She later played in numerous jazz venues in Europe & in 1989 moved to NY & was a vocalist, vocal coach & production assistant for Chesky Records, which featured Antonio Carlos Jobim & other Brazilian recording artists. She holds a degree with honors in Latin American Studies from William & Mary College & currently resides in Buenos Aires Ar. She is an outstanding Vocalist & is adept at performing many styles of music. Her album, Simply Bossa, is a great rendition of A.C. Jobim's music plus 3 original songs.
