A Dying Oath are a young four-piece screamo/rock band from the eastern subburbs of Melbourne. The band formed in mid-Autumn of 2006 when Ross and Paul decided it was time to start playing again after the band they were in together broke up. They then brought Kane and Andrew into the mix and instantly all four hit it off.
