Since their inception in October 2001, Liability Of My Own developed an explosive and challenging mixture of punk rock, hardcore & screamo. Skilfully merging the emotive and melodious heart of emo, the hard working ethic of hardcore, laid over the ever enduring foundation of punk, the dual vocals of Aaron and Ben from different punk backgrounds generates a distinctive imitable sound. Liability Of My Owns strength lies in their intense commitment to the art of song writing and live performance. In a little over two years they had played over 100 live shows locally, regionally and interstate, sharing the stage with a diverse range of awesome bands including The Bleeders (NZ), The Hot Lies, After The Fall, 28 days, Behind Crimson Eyes, Kiss Chasy, Karnivool, Irrelevant, Horsell Common, Angelas Dish, The Scare, Wendy Icon, Stolen Youth. God So Loved The World and many more. LOMO were awarded the Most popular punk act at the 2006 South Australian Music Industry Awards by public vote and were one of 24 artists selected from over 600 entries Australia wide to play in the 2004 FUSE Festival showcase which was held in Adelaide's west end.
