Artist
Very little is known about this often-misunderstood, always-underestimated MC that claims residence somewhere in the New England area. The few facts that have been determined from research are that he has built his foundation in the mid-90s, when hip hop consisted of many quotable hits, and even more misses; the days when the artform was dominated with gritty lo-fi sampling and crushing drums, accompanied by MCs who had something to say. It took several years to properly train the pen and his voice to become an extension of the rhythm, but he has since become a force to be reckoned with. In this day and age, hip hop has been debated to either be alive or dead, due to the lack of talent and/or substance exhibited by many of the new generation mainstream artists, and some of the veterans who have degenerated their styles to fit in with the new jacks. 8 has vowed to keep some of the traditional sound involved in his music, regardless of the production style.
