3vilution was formed in 2001 by founding members Siniztah, Demonik, and Homisyde(187). 3 years before, there was no name to describe the changing lifestyles, lyricism, and musical atmosphere that is 3vilution. Originating from Louisville, KY, and eventually making its final course to Pocatello, ID, the virus spread. Siniztah created the name 3vilution, flawlessly defining an "evolving" sound in hardcore rap and hip hop, the provocative, realistic black metal lyricism bringing a life force to the massive change, the "3" representing the founding members. The band started out fresh, but was missing many key parts they needed to spread the 3vilution. After 2 years of countless mixtape material, demos, and side sessions, it was time for another stage in the 3vilution. Gathering what money the band had left and put away, they upgraded in equipment and techniques to make their own beats. Demonik and Homisyde(187) empowered the movement and got the credit they deserved. In 2004, 3vilution released their first demo tape Amongst The Flames in an effort to let everyone in Southeast Idaho know what's up. The music scene in Southeast Idaho was decaying from the effect of "rip-off emo acts" which was famous for it; this is where 3vilution realized it was time to bring a rap scene to this new territory. 3 months after the demo's release, the band performed their first show at a local club; that night reception was higher than expected.
