Your typical band has their humble beginnings in a Garage, hence the term Garage Band. Well, the 18 Pac Pros aren't your typical band. They began under the name U.I (Understanding Id) in their apartment #435. So I guess you would say they started out as a Apartment Band. Then eventually they moved to a house in the Mohave Desert, that was big enough to have a small practice room, and a large refrigerator for the beer. At this time, the named was officially changed to the 18 Pac Pros. It was there that the 18 Pac Pros hooked up with guitarist Joey Vines.
