110 in the Shade is a musical with a score composed by the men behind The Fantasticks, Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt, based on the play The Rainmaker. There is currently a revival running on Broadway at Studio 54 starring Audra McDonald, Steve Kazee and John Cullum. It is set to close July 29th, 2007. It is the first Broadway production of the musical since its original incarnation in the 1960s. Audra McDonald and John Cullum were nominated for 2007 Tony Awards for their work in the revival production, and the show was nominated for Best Revival of a Musical. Additionally, Jonathan Tunick was nominated for his orchestrations, and Christopher Akerlind was nominated for his lighting design.
