The Beales were Jacqueline Kennedy’s aunt and cousin, respectively. While the action of the second act, in 1973, hews closely to that of the film, the first act, set in 1941, is a speculative attempt to explain some of the interpersonal dynamics that led to the Bouviers’ fall from grace. Both acts are set at Grey Gardens, the Bouviers' mansion in East Hampton, New York. 3. Grey Gardens is a five piece alt rock/post-hardcore band from Michigan. Their debut 5-song EP "Into The Sun" was released in September 2023 on Setterwind Records with a subsequent EU-release on Axle Steel Records. They followed it up with a 4-song EP "Holding On", released in October 2024, again on Setterwind Records. Members hail from acts like The Black Dahlia Murder, Consolation Prize, Red Deserts, and Tried in Absentia. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA Licens
