Ævestaden is a Norwegian folk trio combining fiddle, jaw harp, lyres, kantele, cow horn and live electronics with rich vocal harmonies. Their music is inspired by old Nordic traditions but shaped through new arrangements and experimental soundscapes. By blending acoustic instruments and voices with subtle electronics, Ævestaden creates a sound that is both rooted and contemporary.
