Amalie Holt Kleive combines jazz and electronic, and turns it into danceable and touching music. "A combination of folk and electronic music makes for magical moments that lean towards greats like Björk and Thom Yorke" (TIDAL Norway). 2018 saw her debut at Vill Vill Vest, and her EP Slippe, followed soon after, to critical acclaim. "One of the most promising musicians around" Bergens Tidende wrote. Since then, she's played a number of gigs, including performances at Landmark, Nattjazz, and Parkteateret, and she's written commissioned work for Bergen Litteraturfestival and EKKO. In February 2022 she released her debut album De løper der jeg går (Norwegian for "They run where I walk" - a strong and elegant album produced by herself, Vetle Junker (Metteson, Verdensrommet) and Peder Kolsung (Sigrid). Her album got great reviews and attention by some of the biggest papers, websites and magazines in Norway.
