Ángel Capel (born 18 November 1986 in Almería, Albox, Spain) is a Spanish singer, who rose to fame after competing in talent show, Operación Triunfo 2009, where he finished fourth. At 21, he decided to try his luck in the music industry and became part of the orchestra band, Cristal. He auditioned for OT in Valencia in March 2009. After two days of casting, Angel qualified for the final in Barcelona. During the show, he left highlights like the duets with Natalia Jimenez, lead singer of La Quinta Estación, singing Marc Anthony's "Recuérdame", David Bustamante "Dos Hombre y Un Destino", which since then, has forged a great friendship between the two.
