Hailing from Lovely Seattle, Washington, "Awesome" is a group of artist/musicians/performers whose music pushes the boundaries of pop. Their album 'Delaware' is a recording of a musical performance. The songs tell stories and are performed with innovative musical techniques. Typewriters and water become percussion. Trombones beckon, an accordion shimmies, and a banjo (with Pactrick Swayze's face) twangs happily. The band is influenced by musicians like They Might Be Giants and Robyn Hitchcock.
