“Without” is an explosively-infectious folk pop track, driven by its pulsing electronic elements and relatable storyline recounting how he managed to escape the grip of a former lover. The track was written by Mountain with additional songwriting and production from his frequent collaborator, Tomas Baxter (BXTR Productions) while the track’s mastering was handled by Grammy Award recipient Bill Hare (Pentatonix, Flying Pickets). With nods to Maggie Rogers, Dermot Kennedy, MUNA and iamamwhoami, “Without” sees Alexander Mountain continue to explore and develop his own unique sound while celebrating his escape from a toxic and hazardous relationship.
