Us is the second studio album by Honduran-American singer-songwriter and producer Empress Of, released on October 19, 2018, via XL Recordings and Terrible Records. The album consists of 10 tracks, primarily written by Lorely Rodriguez, with co-writing contributions from Dan Nigro, Andrew Sarlo, and Georgia Barnes on select songs. Us was preceded by the double A-side single "Trust Me Baby / In Dreams," released on April 11, 2018, and three promotional singles: "When I'm with Him" on August 22, "Love for Me" on September 24, and "I Don't Even Smoke Weed" on October 17. The album continues Empress Of’s exploration of electronic pop and R&B, blending introspective lyrics with energetic, experimental production. The record showcases themes of love, identity, and personal growth, with Rodriguez maintaining a hands-on role in production and songwriting.
