Weekend Revolutionaries' debut album, 'Trouble in Paradise', was released on September 7, 2008. The album took just over two months to complete, and all songs were created on GarageBand using a Fender American Stratocaster 50th Anniversary electric guitar, an Evolution MK-449C keyboard, a Roland MicroCube amplifier and a Boss GT-8 guitar effects processor. The album contains songs of social commentary on life as a young Australian, dealing with issues such as drug and alcohol use, suicide, social hierarchies, war, depression, global warming and isolation.
