Independently released by Abraham the Poor on September 2, 2007, The Pumpkin Patch Cabin EP is singer/songwriter Josh Gaines' first album. Gaines recorded all vocal parts and instruments himself in the bedroom/bathroom/closet of a friend's house. The project took about 4 months to complete from start to finish, recording was only done a day or two at a time with long periods in between. Facts: -Lyrics to 'The Muse' are completely in classic iambic pentameter. -'Aubrey' is about Gaines' youngest sister, whose middle name is Aubrey. -The speaking voice heard in 'Future Homes' is Gaines' great-grandfather, the clip is from a tape he made only a few months before he passed away.
