The Calendar Round is an experimental record created from samples, a love of vinyl and film and a loose narrative. During a short hiatus between completion of the demos for South December and its actual recording through the winter, this second album was conceived and written. It is very much the companion record to South December, though very different, stylistically. Built from beats and samples and layered with added guitar noise, basslines and film snippets, The Calendar Round is a soundtrack to the end of everything. A life.. the world. You choose.
