Heart Heart Julia provides us with tracks thirteen and fourteen from their collection. The Astorians is the haunting account of the journey westward and the return home to enlighten. Thirteen is the heart of the album spanning over 20 minutes and capturing eight different pieces of travel writing together with field recordings from trips to Seaside, Oregon, capturing visions from a car window. Fourteen is a thirty minute instrumental pieced together by music composer Phil. The album contains an array of instruments including dulcimer, violin, toy guitar, acoustic guitar, e-bow, and other found objects.
