Heart Heart Julia will release their latest and greatest album Lord Did She Sing on May 5th. Lord Did She Sing was recorded in isolation during a snow storm when J.Scott was on his spring break. Recorded in the house of his parents - J.Scott discovers letters and old homework assignments giving a very illusionary lyrical styling that separates Lord Did She Sing from other HHJ albums. Paired with the unique guitar technique with long periods of feedback similar to those from Soundtrack to Anthropologie and punk chords over heavy distortion Lord Did She Sing is about a haunting childhood memory of a girl that never could live up to her expectation as Julia. G. Dutton adds a unique blend of piano to add a haunting element to the release - like fog rising over a lake- the humid air is felt throughout the album and at times is choking. Lord Did She Sing marks the second HHJ album without the creative influence of S. Williams and a more fashionable display of artistic passion.
