Larry Stepniak - algorithms and synthesizer These pieces were built upon the Minimal Monkey algorithms developed for the global sensation known as “Step 5”. The parameters are as follows: Track 1 - 12 TET, randomly generated velocity. Tracks 2,4 - 12 TET, no velocity, all 1/16 notes. Track 3 - 12 TET, no velocity, all 1/32 notes. Track 5 - 19 TET, no velocity, all 1/16 notes. Track 6 - 19 TET, randomly generated velocity Spoiler Alert! The images on this package are borrowed from the RAND book “A Million Random Digits with 100,000 Normal Deviates”. If you have not yet read this essential book please do not read the text included herein. The modern listener will recognize the influences.
