"Soul Searching" is Bazzi’s freshman mixtape, following his monumental debut album "COSMIC". Until release, much of the mixtape was kept hidden from the public, only confirming its release under Atlantic Records and feature songs written while on tour. While “Caught in the Fire” does not appear on the project, the mixtape’s lead single, “Paradise,” premiered a mere three days after “Caught in the Fire.” The single was subsequently followed by the release of “Focus” featuring 21 Savage and “I.F.L.Y.” alongside the mixtape’s announcement. This project also features the first time a song by Bazzi features multiple words since “Bring You Home” in 2015.
