Song and Dance Man is the first album by amateur musician Davie Marshall released for free via the internet in 2008. Classified as something between pop/rock and progressive rock, Song and Dance Man features instrumental tracks blending CP70 with synthesised string arrangements (Foreigner), to more typical 'pop' song structures (Final Encore). The album came together over the course of two years on/off writing recording with the help of Andreas Diemann who shouldered the responsibility of taking the lead vocals across the whole album. Diemann also contributed some musical ideas to The Man From A to Z, along with Jeremy Robberechts who provided lead guitar. The album style leans towards that of 1980's Genesis, specifically the Duke album. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
