This was the first batch of material to be written and recorded by Chad Pikschus under the name Shambhala. Prior to this, Chad's music was mainly rooted in death metal, so this was a considerable departure in terms of style and song-writing approach. Compared to "The Ever-Becoming", this 2005 EP is looser and more experimental, and incorporates a bit of improvisation. Instruments used: Ibanez GRX20, Peavy Raptor, hand-drum, cymbal, tambourine, gourd rattle, and rainmaker.
