Riparian Forest was released in 2011 on Sirona Records. Coming from the back of Jack Anderton's previous album, The Missing Couple, Riparian Forest is a deeper exploration into synth composition, still mixing synths with found sounds, samples and field recordings but generally aiming for longer slower moving tracks that use minimal synth elements to build into crescendos and fall into lulls. The album begins in the middle of a forest before breaking out into the surrounding areas. Using 90s synths composed in a post-rock structure makes this a familiar yet experimental listen.
