Reza is the twenty first and final studio album by Brazilian singer Rita Lee, released in 2012 by the label Biscoito Fino. The album was produced by Roberto de Carvalho and Apollo Nove. On Twitter—a platform that Lee began using extensively in 2010—she announced on 6 January 2011: "My absence from tweeting is because we are recording two projects at the same time: an album of only unreleased songs and Bossa 'n Movies, continuing the series." Reza marked her first album of entirely new material in nine years, following Balacobaco as its predecessor. The first track from the album to be released was "Pistis Sophia", included on the 2011 compilation Red Hot + Rio 2, followed by "As Loucas", which premiered on the singer's official YouTube channel on 28 September 2011. The album's lead single and third released track, the title song "Reza", was issued on 2 February 2012. Lee described the song as a "prayer for protection against envy, anger, and curses." This track was featured on the national soundtrack of the Rede Globo telenovela Avenida Brasil. Reza debuted at ninth position on the iTunes Brazil Top Albums chart and soon reached the number-one spot, remaining in the Top 10 for several subsequent weeks. On 1 April, the music video for "Reza" was filmed at the singer's farm in Cotia, in the interior of São Paulo state, and premiered alongside the album. The single "Reza" debuted at position 97 on the Brazil Hot 100 chart and later climbed to position 71. User-contributed
