"Relics" (subtitle: "A Bizarre Collection of Antiques & Curios") is a 1971 compilation album by English rock band Pink Floyd. It was released in the United Kingdom on 14 May 1971 and in the United States the following day. Initially issued by Starline, the album was later reissued in the UK by Music for Pleasure and distributed in the US by Harvest and Capitol. A remastered CD edition was released in 1996, featuring a different cover based on a three-dimensional model of the original sketch drawn by drummer Nick Mason. The compilation was released at a time when the band was preparing to record what would become "Meddle" without any pre-existing songs or ideas. Combined with their extensive touring schedule, EMI decided to issue a budget-priced LP to provide fans with additional material. "Relics" compiles early singles, B-sides, album tracks, and one previously unreleased song, "Biding My Time", drawing material from the first three albums: "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn", "A Saucerful of Secrets" and "More". The album has been re-released several times, occasionally without the band’s consent. Notably, EMI Australia issued a CD version in 1987 without approval, which led to the LP being withdrawn and becoming a rarity. The album was officially issued on CD in 1996, and reissued again on 17 June 2016, restoring the original sketch artwork while retaining the same mastering as the 1996 edition. "Relics" includes Pink Floyd’s first two Syd Barrett-era singles, "Arnold Layn
