Get your flares out, fake Afro wig and medallion coz it's the 70's disco again - with a modern influence ! Originally 'PR Superstar' was written for ...a certain well known female recording artist, commissioned by her record company for Treija to write a song in a retro/electro-disco style. But liking the song more-and-more, and with pressure form his record company Latvian Spice, Treija decided to hold back the song and not to publish... For this decision, Treija states: 'throwing away a 5-figure single record deal... my publisher started having kittens - lol;))))' The song's called P.R Superstar and it reflects the hedonistic wannabe lifestyle of a certain PR Events girl who was always ''trying to get in any celebrity's pants by any means nessacary ...'' As a promotional ploy, Treija initially released this in Public Domain - giving ex-gratia copies.. a few labels are interested in putting out a dance/club re-mix white labels and a lot of bootleg/unofficial versions and club releases have created an underground buzz. Recently, Treija ran into trouble when a certain British radio station played the track before the watershed without editing the lyric 'Star*cker'. This subsequently became known as the 'Star*cker edit' and the preferred version over the sanitized Radio Edit. Due to licensing / publishing negotiations, the tracks' official released is to be announced. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may
