Listening to this track on the first occasion, 'Friday' may not be all that it seems. At first, it appears to be a bouncy bubbly, sunshiney choon - a country barnyard fest of plucky banjo's and cute clippety-clop hooves. Listen again, and you start to get some of the genius in Treija's bittersweet lyrics. Playlisted on John Kennedy's XFM 104.9fm, and U.S Hit radio Core-X FM, this bittersweet track is one of those songs that grows and grows, yet cannot be specifically placed in any particular genre - a summation of Treija's work in general. "Different" - a fellow producer called it. "You won't have heard a track quite like this before" - said EMTALENT Radio upon hearing this track. "Banjos? donkey clippety-clops? washboard? bendy pedal steel guitars?... has Treija gone southern hick/redneck mad? Yeee-haaa !" - Jo Stragner - music producer - XFM Radio (Manchester) Once again, not afraid to try something different, Treija has gone all country-mad with this excruciatingly catchy dippy little number called 'Friday'. "beep-beep" - Paul Tomlinson - Roadrunner Records Check out this track with caution. But be warned, once it gets into your head, you'll be clogging round the room like some latter-day hillbilly.
