PLAYFIGHT is Edmonton, Alberta's The Joe's fourth solo studio release. It appeared on June 19th, 2010 on OLD UGLY Recording Co. on tape cassette and digital download. The album is characterized in part by crunk radio rap jams and in another part by avante garde art rap sensibilities. It is a mixtape in the traditional context of the word: an emcee delivering his own songs over production made popular by better known artists who on this particular release range from the likes of Lil Wayne and Lil Jon to Prefuse 73 and Daedalus.
