When this originally rolled in, it was put through it’s usual sound test and didn’t register with it’s full impact. MY LIFE WITH MAX holds a lot to discern though and so fortunately repeated testing proved this to be durable quality goods. Not everything connects ( “The Mad Irishman” is rather pointless noodling, “ Wild Bill“ shoots for Beefheartian heights and sounds jumbled) But the experimentation is well suited for the cassette format. Particular highlights include “For Your Information”, “I Could Be”, “Hallway” and “Boneyard”--- a cache worth discovering!
