Keys to Ascension is a 2-CD set by the British progressive rock band Yes, released in 1996. The album's first seven tracks comprise part of a performance by the band in San Luis Obispo, California, in 1996. The last two are new studio tracks. The album is notable for featuring the first studio material by the Jon Anderson/Steve Howe/Chris Squire/Rick Wakeman/Alan White lineup of the band since 1978's Tormato. Keys to Ascension 2, a second 2-CD set consisting of the remaining six live tracks and five more studio tracks from the same sessions, followed in 1997. The studio tracks have been recompiled (with a slightly different version of Keys to Ascension 2's "Children of Light") as Keystudio (2001), while both collections in their entirety have been reissued as Keys to Ascension, Volumes 1 & 2 (1998), and again under the same title with a bonus DVD of the live performance in 2010.
