Kemonogatari is a techno album that merges taiko, gagaku, and other Japanese folk sounds & influences. It also features a lengthy ambient/soundscape track that depicts a sunny day and a stormy night in a rural landscape. According to Renzu, the album was made with a combination of plugins, recorded hand percussion, a Korg Wavedrum and Electribe ESX-1 drum machine.
