Album
The idea behind this album is to show how the diversity of music that can be fusioned , tango, jazz, flamenco, electronica. After recording "Emigrante (Electrotango)" as Tanghetto in November 2003, they felt they had more to achieve and say in repect to New-Tango. Tango is a music of diverse origins as the habitants of Argentina. Naturally, musical hybrids flourish. As Hybrid Tango, the members Max Masri (synthesizers, programming, piano) and Diego S. Velazquez (guitars, piano, synthesizers, programming) wanted to close the circle of the idea of a cosmopolitan sound fundamentally "portenñ" but takes different elements and ideas like electronic music, flamenco, bossa nova, candombe, etc. Hybrid Tango was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2005.
