Tanghetto's "Emigrante (Electrotango)" is tango for the new millennium. This is Neo-Tango, and has been well received from Buenos Aires to Nijmegen to New York. This is the tango for the "under 30 crowd." It is not your father's tango. Some people do not even think it is tango. These are the purists who call it "tango loco." The music is a fusion of modern tango with techno and jazz to a traditional tango beat. "Traditional tango beat" may be misleading because most tango (other than candombe) does not use percussion instruments. It is an interesting sound.
