Golden is his first album from the West. Experiments with a new recording set-up and pre-amps yielded a clearer guitar and bass sound, and this is one of his strongest collections of songs. Several sonic experiments compliment the more accessible pop-rock tunes on the album. It is also notable for being one of the few King Feeb efforts which contains no keyboards at all.
