The “Far From Home”-EP was recorded on February 8, 9 and 17 2003, except for tracks 6 & 7 which where taken from the “Red Colourless Idea’s”-EP and were recorded on 1 and 2 december 2001. All songs were recorded at the Flowerhouse studio in Haarlem by Willem Bloem and remixed and remasterd by Willem Bloem on august 14 2003. The EP was released on the Naked records label. At first it was supposed to be released as a split-EP together with a punkrock band from Eindhoven called Fameless. Unfortunately for Fameless, Naked records decided they didn’t want it to be released as a split-EP. Although we didn’t play a very good show that night it was a very nice evening. In fact we met Onno that night who did a guest performance for Sellfish. Onno told us he thought we really needed a second guitar player and he would be available to fill in the job. We agreed with that and decided to give it a try. Onno managed to learn all our songs in just a couple of weeks… Koen still owes him some beers for that... The artwork of the EP was completely designed by Roel de Jonge and Wery Huijbregts. It’s unknown from who or where they got the cover picture, we’d have to ask Wery for that… They really did a great job on this one with the whole “Far From Home-theme”. The intro sample was taken from A Joint Session Of Congress delivered by
