Experiment, released in late 2008, was MKDELTA's second album. Experiment was also MKDELTA's first physical CD release but also avaible on sale at Equal Dreams and for streaming at last.fm. Experiment was done as an experiment in exploring influences from different genres and as an experiment in making a physical release, thus coining the album it's name. Stylisticaly the album was a departure from the manic sounds of 1st Serial Run EP. Experiment is subtler, more athmospheric and has straighter beats. The overall feeling of the album is more mysterious, mystic and introspective as opposed to 1st Serial Run EP's intentionaly bipolar sounds. The overall tempo is slower, master compression is much lower and there are some influences from psytrance, IDM and techno.
